The new TOMMY X GIGI collection screams the all American AND all accessible and inclusive girl. The concept builds on Tommy Hilfiger’s vision to democratise fashion and gives Gigi’s worldwide fans the chance to personally participate in the second season of TOMMY X GIGI collection. The collection will be shown, and immediately shoppable, at the runway show in Los Angeles on February 8th.
This collection is especially exciting and intimate for the many who have awaited this second collaboration where fans were able to physically vote on the looks that were created. The duo’s new “❤to be Part” initiative allows consumers to vote for the styles they want to see. The four most popular styles included a bomber (of course), a hoodie, a polo shirt and a pair of jeans. The styles were then customized by influencers Naomi Davis , Camille Charrière and Eleanor Calder for the upcoming runway show. The idea of letting his customers vote and choose what is going to hit the runway denotes Hilfiger’s willingness to better understand the younger millennials, which is something we should celebrate
From denim trenchcoats to sunny yellow tee’s, red and white signature striped swimsuits, the collab is a tribute to the ’70s Cali dream girl full of yacht-ready looks coming at us just in time for summer. February 8th can’t come soon enough.
