Ashley Graham is making headlines for her appearance in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue, yet again. The 28-year-old model landed her first spread in the iconic magazine in 2015 as the face of Swimsuits for All.
Remarkably, she was the first plus-size model to ever appear in an SI ad campaign at the time. And in another history-making moment (not only for plus-size models but arguably for women everywhere), Graham landed the Swimsuit Issue cover in 2016. And now, Ashley Graham is pushing boundaries once again with Swimsuits for All, starring in the retailer’s “Every Body, Every Age, Every Beautiful” campaign, which debuted in SI’s newly released 2017 issue.
Featuring Graham in every trendy swimsuit under the sun and a cast of flawless women varied in their age, size, and ethnicity, the campaign breaks out of the swimsuit-model canon in every imaginable way. Swimsuits for All shot the spread in Puerto Rico, recruiting professional models as well as local women to appear in the photos. The colorful, joyful images prove that looking good in swimwear really comes down to confidence—and, OK, maybe a great suit.
Graham helped call attention to the spread on her Instagram this morning. If you haven’t given her a follow yet, it’s high time you did. From cellulite real talk to general sexiness, her feed will give you a much-needed break from endless photos of matcha lattes and grain bowls.
